After having my eye on a few different products at Ulta, I caved and made my monthly order! I’ve got a good mix of makeup, skincare, and nail products this time around. I’m so excited to try these products out and tell you all about them!
I’ve heard a few different people saying amazing things about this mascara! It’s super cheap, so I’m curious to see how it performs. This is my first non-waterproof mascara I’ve owned in quite some time, so we’ll see how I do with it!
Since I was already planning on getting the mascara, I knew I wanted to grab a few other products (I haven’t tried much from Essence). I saw great reviews on the eye pencils, and this color looked like it could be beautiful! It reminded me of my favorite Urban Decay eyeliner – Mushroom. I love taupe eyeliners to define the eyes!
Along with the taupe shade, I saw this one – which appeared to be a dark smokey green. After receiving it, I’m not sure if that’s going to be the case, so I’m interested to see how it swatches and how it looks on the eyes.
I haven’t purchased any lip liners in a while, but I’m always looking for a medium toned mauve to put under some of my liquid lipsticks! This looked really pretty online, so I’m interested to see how it looks on the lips! Hopefully it goes perfectly with a few of my other lip colors!
As I mentioned in my CoverGirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation Review, the lightest shades of some foundations can be too light for me. I recently heard about this product and I knew I had to give it a try. It sounded like it could be the perfect product to allow me to buy any foundation I want, and create the perfect shade match! I’m definitely going to be using this with the CoverGirl foundation since it’s too dark for me!
Since I bought the white shade, I also purchased this shade – Olive. This looks to be the perfect shade to blend foundations with to create a darker shade. Unfortunately, the BareMinerals foundation that I bought in my August Ulta Haul is way too light for me! It seems like the lighter shades of this foundation are a little off, as the 2nd lightest shade is too dark for me! I’m going to use this foundation mixer to see if I can get a good shade, so I can at least try out the foundation!
I love the look of false lashes, but I absolutely hate the application of them! I was looking for something a little different – and even though about trying the single lashes! I saw these lash trios, and thought it might be an easy way to get some flare on the outer lashes!
With the lashes, I knew that I needed to pick up some new lash glue (as I haven’t used my other since last November!). This has always been my favorite glue because it lasts a long time and dries clear!
The new Essie Winter Gel Couture Collection launched this past week, and I haven’t seen anything about it!! I was so surprised when I saw it online, but hadn’t seen any reviews/swatches! Gold Gilding is a pink metallic shade – which reminds me a lot of Orly Rage. I’m hoping this shade pulls a little more pink, than gold!
This shade is described as a golden beige creme, which I think will be great for fall! I love cool-toned taupes for winter – such as Essie Take Me To Thread or Essie Lady Like. Both are beautiful nude, taupe shades! I’m curious to see where this shade lands.
One of my favorite shades for the winter always used to be OPI Lincoln Park After Dark. This shade is described as a burgundy creme, and looks pretty dark in the bottle! I’m really hoping this is a similar shade, since I love the Gel Couture formula!
I’ve been seeing a lot of things on the Neutrogena Light Therapy Acne Mask, and it’s something that I’m very intrigued by! In the last week or two, they just released this Light Therapy Spot Treatment, which I was all about! From the directions, it appears that you hold this light in place for 2 minutes on any spot you have, and do it up to three times a day. It helps to quickly clear breakouts – which everybody wants! I’m so excited to see how this works out!
I’m running low on my Olay Total Effects Eye Cream, so I was looking for something new to try! The Olay one is really moisturizing, but I always like the gel formulas – especially for during the day! Since this formula claims to be a ‘gel-cream,’ I decided to try it out! I’m curious about the formula, since it seems like it may be similar to the Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel-Cream.
In addition to my eye cream, I’m also running low on my First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair. I’ve still got a little left, so I wanted to try a smaller size of a new moisturizer just to try something new! I don’t love branching out with my moisturizers, but I’ve heard really good things about this one!
Have you tried any of these products above? Which of these products are you most excited about seeing a review on? Let me know in the comments below! 😊
