Years ago, I loved using cleansing oils to remove my makeup. One of my favorites was the MAC Cleanse Off Oil, but I stopped repurchasing it after a while and switched to using the Neutrogena Makeup Removing Wipes. These products were always so simple to use, but my skin always seemed to feel better when using the oils! I’d heard amazing things about the Boscia MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil, so I knew it was the next product I needed to try!

This cleansing oil not only breaks down makeup, but it also brightens the complexion and purifies pores! It contains anti-aging and hydrating ingredients to nourish the skin. To use, you apply the cleansing oil to dry skin and massage in circular motions. Once you have appied the oil all over the skin – even over waterproof mascara – add water to emsulfiy the oil into a milky cleanser and rinse off. With the unique nanotechnology, the cleansing oil and any surface debris will rinse away with ease.

I only purchased a small travel size of this cleansing oil, but it has lasted me quite a few uses! This is one of the lightest cleansing oils I’ve used before and it doesn’t feel extremely heavy or thick on the skin. It glides over the skin and quickly removes any makeup! It has no problem with removing regular or waterproof mascara after gently rubbing over the eye area. I take anywhere from 30 to 60 seconds to massage the oil into the skin, and then rinse off. After rinsing off, my skin feels very comfortable – not dehydrated (like it would with makeup remvoing clothes), but not oily either. My skin feels overall hydrated and ready for the rest of my routine.

With a few weeks of use, I’ve not had any adverse reactions to this, which I always worry about when using oils! If the cleansing oil is a little thicker and doesn’t completely rinse off, it be difficult to remove from the skin. If this is the case, it can make the skin feel oily and too hydrating – causing clogged pores and breakouts! Since this oil feels so light on the skin, I think my skin is adjusting well to it!

Since I only purchased a small size of this oil, I am definitely going to be purchasing a full size of this! My skin has felt extremely soft and hydrated with it – not to mention it removes makeup with ease at night! It’s such a simple product to use, but I think it’s benefiting my skin more than any other makeup remover I’ve tried in the past!
